Anything need to be turned off (suspension) before car goes on hoist?

Have my new rims coming tomorrow, was planning on putting them on.
Is there anything that needs to be shut off suspension wise before it goes on the hoist?

No, unless you have the car locked and plan to lift only one end of the car. Then you may want to disable the alarm via the button beside the shift lever. (You probably know that this alarm is intended to discourage a thief from towing the car by lifting the rear of the car.)

The jacking points for the car are the rubber pads under the rocker panel behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels.
