oil level

i got my first oil change last week and 3 days later got a red warning on dash that oil level was over capacity. m/b service had 2 different explanations. 1 - because there is no drain plug old oil is sucked out.if they don't get it all the new oil added creates over fill.they cannot check oil level because engine is cold and no dipstick to check. when i checked oil level on dash after my warning it said remove some oil. 2'nd explanation - synthetic oil expands when hot so 8 qts turns into 9. sl 500 should take 7.9 qts.my service billing was for 9 qts.-go figure. long story- be sure to check your level after oil change.

BBB=Better Business Bureau. Or better yet, go over their heads and contact Mercedes Benz North America and let them know what kind of scam their dealer is trying to pull.
