From the pictures, it looks like you can just take the compressor off to get to it , Just you will need to recharge your a/c system once you put your compressor back on. I remember back in school we used a special machine to refill empty systems. It hooked to a high and one to the low. To suck the empty air out and fill it up with r134. So make sure you correctly fill it.
1. Take off air box and wideband silencer
2. take off fuel rail
3. take off intake manifold
4. d/c throttle body
5. take off belt
6. take off supercharger
I have heard people taking off the compressor to take it off , but you have to have the car lifted up and you must have the THIN belt tensior bar , but it will be a very tight squeeze to stick that bar into it to brake it loose.
Hi my name is juan im trying to change the tensioner on my benz you said you had some pictures. I was wondering if you can post them or send them to me. Do you think is posible to just drop the ac compressor just enough to get to that tensioner screw without having to take off the top half of that engine. Thanks for your help
